There are two main factors that pave the way for the Democratic Party's chances in the 2024 US presidential election. The chance to bring Kamala Harris back to the White House.

The first factor was Joe Biden's strategic decision to withdraw from the race and endorse Vice President Kamala Harris as the Democratic presidential candidate, setting her up for a head-to-head contest with former President Donald Trump. Polls had shown Biden’s chances of defeating Trump were slim, but once Biden withdrew and backed Harris, the political landscape shifted.

The second factor was Kamala Harris' flagship program, which not only enhanced her public image but also significantly boosted her electoral chances. Currently, Harris holds a narrow lead over Trump in the popular vote, polling between 47-51%, compared to Trump's 46-49%. However, as we know, U.S. elections are determined by the Electoral College, not the national popular vote. Therefore, securing key states is crucial.

Both candidates have strongholds—Harris in traditionally blue states and Trump in red states—but the final outcome will hinge on swing states. The seven key battleground states—Arizona, Georgia, Michigan, Nevada, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin—are where the election will likely be decided. These states remain highly competitive, with early voting already underway in some, like North Carolina and Georgia.

Harris' flagship platform is a critical factor in swaying undecided voters. Her policies are highly relevant to the needs of the American people. According to her social media account on X
